The Institute's activities focus on research as well as teaching in the fields of Comparative and International Politics. Our aim is to disseminate our findings within and beyond academia in order to achieve better policies and outcomes for society. To this end, we not only participate in international conferences, give public lectures and appear in the media, but also experiment with newer forms of knowledge communication. Whether the topic is digital democracy, energy transition or global security, IPW has made a name for itself for competent, evidence-based contributions to public debate.

Statute

The purpose, structure and financial resources of the Institute of Political Science are governed by the statutes, which came into force on 1 January 2007.
