What is Energy Governance?
A multitude of political and corporate decisions is necessary to govern Switzerland’s energy transition. Actors pursue their economic and political interests in different markets and on the municipal, cantonal, federal, and international level. These processes interact with system structures and form transition pathways that will determine the success and sustainability of Switzerland’s energy transition.
These topics are summarized under the label of Energy Governance. Research in Energy Governance addresses actors, their strategies, interactions, and networks as well as issues of system formation and change.
